This skill allows a player who has it to wield a second weapon in combat. When using a second weapon they cannot hold an additional item, the weapon replaces that and you will see when typing equip that hold: changes to second: When wielding a second weapon you cannot use a shield either as this would hamper the use of the second weapon too much. The second weapon must be lighter than the primary one too, as the balance of strength in your arms dictate that the heavier weapon should be in your primary grip. It is possible for those who become dextrous enough to wield two weapons of equal weight with full ambidextrous use. This is a hard skill to learn and most cannot use it until they have reached at least the seventh level. There is also a penalty on damage which, as the skill develops, reduces until eventually there is no penalty at all.
