When you pledge you become a permament member of a clan. The clan lists will change to reflect this and you will be open to all the events that can affect a clanned player. It is important that you understand the implications of this and should read HELP CLAN_GUIDE first. You must be in a suitable location and with the clan leader of the clan you wish to join. If the leader has set nofollow then you cannot join at all. If he allows you to, a fee will be taken from your funds and you will be enrolled into the clan.
