This spell is an essential element of the spellcaster's toolkit. When cast on a target it renders them unable to respond, flee or do anything for a small duration. The duration is longer the better the spellcaster and a mage would do better than a fighter. Some creatures are naturally resistant to this form of magic and will throw off its affects in only a few seconds. This is the most potent form of this spell, combining both the confuse and bind spells into one.
