The Gnome

History
The Gnome is a close cousin of the Dwarf, it is rumoured that the more technically orientated Dwarven ancestors couldn't stand the "Gold, gold, gold" song style and started their own small community. Since there was no animosity, the Gnomes traded their technology and gadgetry freely with the Dwarves, and individuals would often leave one community for the other. This resulted in a heavily polarised pair of races.

The two races are now distinct, but it is still usual for clever weaker Dwarves to go and work with the Gnomes, and dull stronger Gnomes work in the Dwarven mines.

They also suffer from many humour related problems with other races due to their size and being considered boring, and they can't understand the statues in peoples gardens that are often holding fishing rods and sitting on red spotted mushrooms.

Attributes
The gnomes have returned to religion with fervour and have increased piety as a result. But sitting around all day twiddling with gadgets has resulted in them being less physical than other races.
