The Druid
History
Druids have been around longer than even the clerics, but most certainly
not as visible. Their main precepts are to live in harmony with nature
rather than at variance with it. Over the centuries they have grown away
from town and the more ostentatious parts of civilisation. They also realise
that for nature to work best all aspects of life need to be included, strength
and weakness, good and evil, all have their parts to play. As a result
druids are famous for their neutrality. On the whole they tend to show
this by not taking sides in any arguments but they do realise that it would
also be an imbalance to never take sides so at times they do end up helping
one group or an other.
Another reason that they avoid towns quite often is that they tend
the lands and their powers radiate from sacred glades. These holy places
epitomise the link the druids share with nature and are an intrinsic art
of their powers
Attributes
The druid is a strong spell caster with an emphasis on nature. They
are perhaps not quite as good as ordinary clerics when it comes to feats
of arms. They are able though to take various plants, preferably herbs
and convert them into useful potions, some beneficial, some not. Like rangers
they are adept at tracking and can find most things with little hardship.
